Net Income Summary vs. Income/Expense Report

In the Program Defaults, you can select the option to view a "Net Income Summary" on your Summary tab.  This totals listed here will include all transactions, including tranactions posted to the "other" category.



Keep in mind that the Income & Expense reports reflect only transactions classed to either an Income or Expense category.  In the event you post a transaction to the "other" category, your "Net Income Summary" number will differ from your "Income & Expense" report totals.
