Paying Out Separate Management Fees

If you pay out management fees to more than one person and you want to be able to track each person's totals for a given time period, follow the steps below:
  • Create a separate expense category (under Settings/Setup Category)  for each manager
  • Assign this category in the management fee setup (Property tab/Edit Property/More Functions/Management Fees/Category .)
  • To view total management fees for each person, pull the financial report for all properties called "Category Ledger" and use the category for that particular manager
