With Rentec Direct it's easy for landlords and property managers to get setup for tenant screening. Following these simple steps can have you setup to start screening your applicants today.
- If you don't already have a Rentec PRO or PM account, set one up. It only takes about 60 seconds and can be done by clicking on any of the Sign Up links on our property management software website.
- After you sign up, login and go to the Reports tab, and click 'Screening Reports' up top.
However, you will need to submit our credit access application and provide a few requested documents before you'll have access to order credit reports from us through our program. We offer two types of credit reports:
Tenant Credit Report Cards
Full Tenant Credit Reports (requires a site inspection with a $50 inspection fee)
3. The credit access application can be filled out and submitted online by clicking the link displayed on the screen in the program, or it can be downloaded and then sent to us.
After clicking the link, the screen will then guide you through your next steps. Please note: in question #3, you must select yes and provide proof or you will be re-directed to our Tenant Screening partner, Apply Connect.
We process screening applications daily and once yours is received we will review it to ensure it is complete and accurate and email you as soon as your account is ready to go. To order a tenant screening report, return to Reports > Screening Reports and click 'Order A Report'.
